JOHN CHAPTER 3 (continued):
Verses 13-17… God so loved the world that He gave His Son, who came down from Heaven and ascended back to Heaven.
Verse 13… The Son of God descended from Heaven and returned.
Proverbs 30:4... John 16:28… Acts 2:32-36… Ephesians 4:8-10…
Verses 14-15… God gave a picture of Moses lifting up the serpent in the wilderness, in order to portray the Son of Man must be lifted up also.
Numbers 21:7-9… John 3:35-36…
Verse 16… God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son.
Romans 5:6-8… 1st John 4:9-10…
Verse 17… God never wanted to condemn the world; He wanted to save the world.
2nd Peter 3:9… 1st Timothy 2:4-6… Luke 9:51-56…
Verses 18-21… Jesus outlines the reason for condemnation and exhorts people to come to the light.
Verse 18… Jesus shows the contrast regarding belief and unbelief.

Verse 19… The Lord gives the reason for condemnation.

Verse 12… Dead = the unsaved dead. Revelation 20:5-6…
